I see clients located in New York both in-person and remotely via video conference, and I see clients located in Virginia remotely.

I do not participate in-network for any health insurance plans, but your out-of-network benefits may provide some reimbursement for my services.

If you are unsure whether you have out-of-network mental health benefits, you can call your insurance provider and ask the following questions:

• Does my insurance plan provide out-of-network mental health coverage for:

  • ​Individuals: CPT Code 90834 (Psychotherapy, 45 minutes)

  • Couples: CPT Code 90847 (Family or couples therapy with the patient present)

• What is my deductible? How much of the deductible have I met for this plan year?

• What is the maximum allowable rate for the above CPT code? (The highest fee per session against which your provider will provide a certain percentage reimbursement)

• ​What is the reimbursement rate? (Percentage of the allowable rate for which your provider provides reimbursement after the deductible is met)
