My training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, paired with years of clinical experience in diverse settings, has empowered me to work with individuals and couples across a range of ages, ethnicities, cultures, religions, gender identities, sexual orientations, and physical abilities.

I am also uniquely suited to support some specific populations given extensive personal and clinical experience with each, including:

Professionals in

High-Pressure Careers

Many clients who work in high-pressure careers come to therapy feeling that something is off, though they’ve done everything “right.” I’ve worked with such clients across a range of industries, including finance, law, medicine, consulting, marketing, tech, and media.

Challenges faced by this population may include:

  • Professional burnout

  • Imposter syndrome

  • Feeling unfulfilled despite professional success

  • Difficulty maintaining work / life balance

  • Losing themselves in work

  • Feeling bound by golden handcuffs

Performing Arts & Creative Industry Professionals

Individuals working in the performing arts and creative industries face unique challenges in balancing the pursuit of an artistic passion with the pragmatic realities of working in an unpredictable industry. I have experience with clients who work in various capacities in this field, including as actors, musicians, painters, sculptors, writers, directors, and producers.

Challenges faced by this population may include:

  • Withstanding constant rejection

  • Disentangling self-worth from professional success

  • Difficulty with self-promotion

  • Comparing and despairing

  • Finding stability in a “feast or famine” career

  • Navigating intra- and inter-industry relationships

LGBTQ+

Individuals

The LGBTQ+ community has a long history of navigating and overcoming adversity, including systemic oppression, stigma, discrimination, and violence. I have experience supporting clients across a spectrum of gender identities and sexual orientations as they seek to build fulfilling lives in which they live authentically as themselves.

Challenges faced by this population may include:

  • Combatting internalized oppression

  • Exploring sexuality / gender identity

  • Finding belonging and sense of community

  • Coming out

  • Reevaluating relationships with substances

  • Experimenting with non-traditional relationship structures
